Fungal skin infections such as thrush, ringworm, athlete's foot.Bacterial skin infections such as impetigo.Viral skin infections such as chickenpox, shingles, cold sores or herpes simplex.▪️ Don't apply the cream to broken skin or open wounds, or areas of skin affected by any of the following conditions: If you do use dressings, cleanse the skin before applying the cream under a fresh dressing. Dressings can increase the absorption of the steroid, which can increase the risk of getting side effects. ▪️ Don't cover the treated area with dressings (this includes bandages, nappies and waterproof pants) unless directed to by your doctor. ▪️ Do not dilute or mix Trimovate with other creams or ointment. ▪️ Trimovate cream should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area(s) of skin once or twice a day for up to seven days, as directed by your doctor. Chlorocresol may cause allergic reactions. ▪️ Trimovate contains cetostearyl alcohol and chlorocresol Cetostearyl alcohol may cause skin reactions. You can protect clothes by covering the treated area with a non-airtight cotton bandage or piece of clean cloth. ▪️ Trimovate cream may stain skin, hair and fabric this can be removed by washing. Don't use Trimovate for longer than instructed by your doctor, or for recurrent infections unless your doctor tells you to, as this may cause the skin to become over-sensitive or allergic to the cream, and also increases the risk of bacteria becoming resistant to the antibiotic. ▪️ Trimovate cream is only used short term for up to seven days. This type of skin inflammation is referred to as intertrigo. This combination cream is prescribed for treating moist areas of inflamed skin where bacterial or Candidal infection is already present or suspected, or is likely to occur, such as nappy rash, seborrhoeic dermatitis, or inflamed areas where skin surfaces are in contact for example between the thighs or between the buttocks.
